     Prayer & Praise.

  • Pray for Lorinda Robinson. She will start a year long Interferon treatment for her Melanoma.  Pray for tolerance for the treatment which can be pretty toxic/brutal.

  • Pray for Andrew Schaeffer who has taken over as Field Director from Steve Nehlsen.

  • Please continue to  pray for Burkina Faso. The political problems have not all been solved

  • Pray for different short-term teams that will be visiting this summer. Pray for a good experience and good health.

  • Kevin Oberg and Toby Hull request prayer for upcoming evangelism trips

  • Pastor Samuel and Elizabeth will be hosting several high school students from villages in the Kenedougou area so that they can continue on with their high school education in Ndorola (which is not available in their home villages). School is starting up this next week—please PRAY for these students who will be coming and for the ministry that Samuel and Elizabeth will have with them.

  • Please continue to pray for Pastor Samuel’s wife, Elizabeth, who is continuing to feel pain around her heart.  Please continue to PRAY for complete healing from the Lord for her.

  • Pray for the unanimously reelected church president Pastor Job Dao and the Board of Directors.

  • Pray for God’s blessing on a new Bible study at the Belleville Church in Bobo-Dioulasso.

  • Pray that God will lead U.S. churches to partner with Alliance team members here so that schools, youth centers, and churches can be built on mission properties in Burkina Faso.

  • Praise God! The total of C&MA pastors in Burkina Faso reaches almost 500. Pray for unity among these pastors and their churches and districts. Pray for a true spirit of evangelism to the many unreached villages and regions that still remain in Burkina Faso.

  • Pray for wisdom and compassion in responding to requests for help from people in need. Hard times have hit, and many are desperate

  • Pray for the pastors’ wives at the Bobo churches. Many are struggling with various physical needs in their families and churches. Pray that these women would not be discouraged in their ministries but that they would find their strength in the Lord.

  • Pray for scholarship funds for Maranatha and Poundou Bible Institute students. Maranatha's academic dean, Thomas Traore, has been accepted into a doctoral program at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Vaux, France. Pray that the Lord will provide a scholarship for him too.

  • Pray Dingasso – There is an active group growing there. They have 20 people in baptism classes right now and Pastor Samuel has requested a pastor to be considered for there. Persecution is on the rise. Young Christian girls are being forced into marriage with pagan husbands.
