The Ceremony was held in downtown
Bobo Dioulasso near the town hall.
It was an interdenominational service as
the Roman Catholic Church was also part
of the project

In good African style there was a lot of
music performed by several music groups.
The national TV was also present.

The Catholic church used an old African custom to present the Bible

Mary Crowgey worked for many years on
the bible translation team.

After the ceremony there was a reception
with refreshments, but the sale of the
Jua Bible had already started
